Jerry Falwell Jr.'s 'pool boy' says he 'felt like I was living a double life' before sex scandal broke in new doc 'God Forbid'
It had just been a couple of months since Giancarlo Granda, then, at that point, a 20-year-old pool chaperon at the upscale Fontainebleau Inn in Miami, had met Jerry Falwell Jr., then the leader of Freedom College, and his better half, Becki. Granda had consented to enter a relationship with the two, one where he says that he and Becki would have intercourse while Jerry watched, in some cases face to face.
"However long we recorded [the sex], he was good with it," Granda made sense of. "A ton of strain came from Jerry. Essentially, her occupation was to tempt me and effectively have intercourse with me. What's more, in the event that she couldn't do that, Jerry would fly off the handle."
Abruptly, Granda severed it. It wouldn't be the last time.
"I told Becki, we can't take part in sexual relations since I found a young woman my age. I believe that should date her. I like her a ton. We clearly can't continue to do this," Granda reviews in Hulu's new narrative God Prohibit: The Sex Outrage That Cut Down a Tradition, which appeared Tuesday. "She didn't take it well indeed. Becki cried, she caused me to feel remorseful for it… . She would tell me, 'God set up us.'"
So Jerry interceded. From the start, Granda had felt that he was essentially a benevolent visitor at the inn, yet his more established sister had made him mindful that he was the head of perhaps of the most safe school in the country. Granda was intrigued by Falwell's power. In any case, he had before long needed to have the option to date ladies his own age, as opposed to over two times his age.
"Jerry said, 'In light of everything, [Becki] needn't bother with to know. We won't tell her,'" Granda said. "Additionally, I said, 'No, If it's not too much trouble, acknowledge my conciliatory sentiments, I can't. I feel awkward getting it done.' What I consented to, and, I proceeded with the close to home association. I continued messaging her, I held conversing with her consistently. I felt like I was carrying on with a twofold life."
